Summary
The Asset Protection Supervisor enforces and protects company assets at the Beverly Hills flagship store by supervising AP associates, conducting investigations and audits, maintaining physical security, and partnering with local management and law enforcement to mitigate risk of loss and safety incidents.
Responsibilities
- Train, coach and supervise AP associates and delegate daily AP duties
- Conduct audits, inspections and maintain accurate AP records and logs
- Investigate incidents and support Asset Protection Manager in follow up
- Perform routine facility and safety inspections and communicate hazards
- Control access to the store to ensure physical security of associates and visitors
- Manage AP equipment maintenance including radios, CCTV and access keys
- Review POS and Cegid reports for negatives, voids, returns and quota items
- Supervise off site sales and participate in damage meetings with management
- Maintain monthly AP documentation and scheduling and conduct security walks
Requirements
- 1-2 years asset protection, retail or managerial experience preferred
- Security license or required certificates where applicable
- Strong written and verbal communication and problem solving skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods, move merchandise and lift 0-25lbs
- Ability to operate necessary equipment and perform inspections
- Credibility, adaptability, service orientation and results driven mindset
- Ability to conduct public speaking for AP education in group settings
