Asset Protection Visual Security Officer - Glendale

Summary

Responsible for protecting company assets and ensuring visual security of the store through observation and deterrence. Works part time on site at the Glendale location to monitor customer and employee activity and respond to incidents. Coordinates with store management to maintain a safe shopping environment and reduce loss.

Responsibilities

• Monitor store premises through observation and patrols to deter theft and misconduct
• Observe customer and employee behavior and report suspicious activity
• Respond to incidents and assist with investigations as directed
• Coordinate with store management and local law enforcement when necessary
• Document incidents and maintain accurate records of security events
• Assist in implementing loss prevention strategies on the sales floor
• Maintain a visible presence to promote safety and reduce shrink

Requirements

• Previous experience in loss prevention security or related role preferred
• Ability to stand and patrol for extended periods during shifts
• Strong observation and communication skills
• Reliable and able to work part time schedule including weekends
• Ability to follow store policies and security procedures
• Basic report writing and documentation skills
