Part time Asset Protection Visual Security Officer responsible for loss prevention and maintaining a safe shopping environment at a retail location in the Mosaic district. The role focuses on monitoring store areas, identifying suspicious behavior, and supporting store team members to protect assets and customers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor sales floor and common areas for suspicious activity through observation and visual surveillance
• Conduct regular patrols of the store and perimeter to deter theft and misconduct
• Report incidents and document findings accurately and promptly
• Work with store leadership and law enforcement when necessary to resolve incidents
• Assist with safety procedures and emergency response as needed
• Provide visible presence to reassure customers and discourage loss
• Collaborate with team members to support asset protection initiatives

Requirements

• Previous retail or security experience preferred
• Strong observational and communication skills
• Ability to stand and patrol for extended periods
• Reliable availability for part time shifts including evenings and weekends
• Basic report writing and incident documentation skills
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
