Summary

Part time Asset Protection Visual Security Officer responsible for deterring loss and maintaining a safe environment at the Norwalk location. This role conducts visible security patrols, monitors premises, and supports a secure shopping environment through proactive observation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform visible patrols of sales floor and surrounding areas to deter theft and misconduct
• Monitor entrances exits and common areas for suspicious activity
• Observe customer and employee behavior and report incidents promptly
• Coordinate with store leadership and law enforcement when necessary
• Document incidents and maintain accurate security logs
• Assist with loss prevention investigations and evidence preservation
• Support safety protocols and emergency procedures

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to stand walk and perform patrol duties for extended periods
• Clear and professional communication skills
• Ability to work part time schedule including nights weekends and holidays
• Reliable and able to follow direction from leadership
