Summary
The Assistant Boutique Manager supports the Boutique Manager in driving business development and managing boutique operations, staff, merchandise and the customer experience. This role helps achieve sales objectives, develops and coaches the sales team, and ensures high standards of service and visual presentation.
Responsibilities
- Provide floor coverage and model luxury customer service to meet or exceed store sales goals
- Partner with Boutique Manager to monitor performance and adjust strategies
- Address and escalate client issues according to company standards
- Coach and develop sales associates in sales techniques and clienteling
- Lead the boutique in the absence of the Boutique Manager and maintain a positive team environment
- Support daily store operations including timekeeping, payroll and inventory accuracy
- Assist in executing special events, product launches and community initiatives
- Maintain visual merchandising standards under corporate direction
- Support onboarding and scheduling to maximize team productivity
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years retail experience
- Previous high end watch sales experience preferred
- Strong organization, communication and follow up skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication and attention to detail
- Results oriented and self motivated with ability to meet goals
- Flexible team player able to work in a demanding environment
- Understanding of sales, budgets, goals and scheduling
- Computer proficiency
