Assistant Boutique Manager

Summary

The Assistant Boutique Manager supports the Boutique Manager in daily store operations, coaching the sales team, maintaining merchandise presentation, and ensuring excellent customer service to achieve commercial targets and minimize stock losses. The role includes opening and closing the boutique, assisting with scheduling and inventory, and participating in client development and promotional activities. The Assistant Manager enforces company policies and security procedures while helping drive sales performance and team development. This position works on-site in the boutique and collaborates with management to maintain operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing day to day store operations including opening and closing.
• Coach, train, schedule, and develop sales associates to meet sales goals.
• Monitor and drive commercial performance and conversion rates daily.
• Participate in visual merchandising and merchandise presentations.
• Support clientele development and after sale capture to build customer database.
• Coordinate and participate in inventories and merchandise transfers or returns.
• Ensure proper pricing and minimize stock losses.
• Facilitate communication between management and associates and lead store meetings.
• Enforce company policies, security procedures, and cash handling standards.

Requirements

• Proven retail supervisory or assistant manager experience or equivalent (use managerial default).
• Experience coaching and developing sales teams to achieve targets.
• Strong customer service and client development skills.
• Familiarity with visual merchandising and inventory procedures.
• Ability to open and close store and manage security protocols.
• Organizational skills for scheduling, stock management, and administrative tasks.
• Effective communication skills with staff and management.
