Summary
General Manager responsible for leading a luxury retail boutique to achieve sales and margin goals through business development, team leadership, client relationship management and operational excellence. This role partners with regional leadership to analyze performance, implement strategies and ensure store presentation and processes meet brand standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop business strategies and action plans to reach qualitative and quantitative objectives
- Partner with regional leadership to maximize sales, margin and reporting on competitors and opportunities
- Manage store sales performance and key performance indicators
- Recruit, train, coach and motivate a high performance team and conduct regular briefings
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and represent the brand in the community
- Oversee CRM activities and community outreach to grow customer base
- Support organization of in store events and liaise with merchandising and PR
- Ensure inventory, stockroom management, loss prevention and visual merchandising standards
- Manage store operations and budgetary expenses to maintain operational excellence
Requirements
- 3 years of retail management experience minimum; 3-5 years preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion or Business preferred
- Deep understanding of specialty retail including business development and store operations
- Proficiency with retail point of sale systems, Word, Excel and email
- Strong client relationship and team management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organizational, critical thinking and problem solving abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and manage multiple priorities
