The Department Manager, Leather Goods leads a department or floor to achieve business targets by coaching and developing client advisors, supporting the Store Manager, and driving client development and succession planning. Responsibilities
- Lead and coach the team to deliver business goals and create a positive work environment
- Set individual and team goals and manage performance through regular feedback
- Recruit and develop talent in collaboration with store leadership to secure succession plans
- Role model selling techniques and support team sales to improve KPIs
- Manage customer flow to ensure each client receives appropriate service
- Develop the customer database by optimizing data capture and integrity
- Drive sales for the assigned category and analyze performance to create improvement actions
- Maintain inventory and oversee inventory management and operational procedures
- Lead the store in the absence of senior management, including opening and closing duties
