Summary
The Assistant Boutique Manager supports the Boutique Manager in daily store operations for ready-to-wear and shoes, focusing on sales growth, client development, merchandising, inventory control, and staff coaching to deliver luxury customer service standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing day-to-day boutique operations including opening and closing the store
- Coach train and develop sales associates to achieve sales goals and improve conversion rates
- Drive clientele development and optimize capture rate and after sale activities
- Prepare and participate in merchandise displays and presentations following brand guidelines
- Monitor pricing manage transfers damages and returns to vendor and participate in inventories
- Assign monitor and measure sales performance and conversion rates daily
- Facilitate communication between management and sales associates and conduct store meetings
- Ensure compliance with company policies security procedures and loss prevention standards
- Maintain merchandising housekeeping and operational standards on the selling floor
Requirements
- At least 5 years of retail experience preferably with at least 1 year of management in a luxury setting
- Demonstrated ability to develop and train associates and lead a sales team
- Strong knowledge of the luxury fashion industry and merchandising sensitivity
- Excellent interpersonal communication organization and follow through skills
- Ability to work varied hours including nights weekends and holidays and remain on the selling floor for long periods
- Initiative commercial creativity and problem solving skills
- Proficiency with POS systems PC phone systems cash register and related equipment
