Summary
Assist the Boutique Director in day-to-day management of the leathergoods boutique, supporting sales performance, client development, merchandising, inventory and store operations to deliver exceptional luxury customer service.
Responsibilities
- Support and coach sales team to maximize sales and conversion rates daily.
- Open and close the boutique and ensure store security procedures are followed.
- Assist with scheduling, staffing, training and performance monitoring of sales associates.
- Develop clientele through clienteling initiatives and coordinate sales promotions and events.
- Participate in merchandise presentation and visual displays according to guidelines.
- Oversee merchandise handling including transfers, damages and return to vendor processes.
- Conduct and participate in inventories and minimize stock losses.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, cash handling and record keeping procedures.
Requirements
- 7+ years of retail experience, preferably with at least 3 years of management in a luxury setting.
- Strong commercial sense and fashion sensitivity consistent with a luxury brand.
- Proven ability to train, coach and develop associates and drive sales results.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organization and follow-through skills.
- Ability to work varied hours including nights, weekends and holidays and to open or close the store.
- Capacity to remain on the selling floor for extended periods and operate POS and store equipment.
