Summary
The Assistant Boutique Manager supports the Boutique Manager in daily store operations, team coaching, client development, merchandising, inventory and security to achieve sales and service standards in a luxury retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing day to day boutique operations including opening and closing the store
- Coach train and develop sales associates to meet sales goals and service standards
- Monitor sales performance conversion rates and assist in assigning sales goals
- Participate in merchandise presentation displays and pricing
- Oversee and participate in inventories and manage stock transfers damages and returns
- Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and security measures
- Support clientele development and clienteling activities including promotion coordination
- Maintain boutique housekeeping merchandising and operational standards
- Perform other tasks as assigned to support boutique performance
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of retail experience preferably with at least 1 year in management in a luxury setting
- Strong customer service and clienteling skills
- Commercial awareness and fashion sensitivity aligned with brand
- Ability to train coach and manage a sales team effectively
- Willingness to work varied hours including nights weekends and holidays
- Ability to remain on the selling floor for extended periods
- Strong interpersonal communication organization and follow through skills
- Proficiency with POS systems and store equipment
