Assistant Manager - Asset Protection - Downtown Seattle

Summary

The Assistant Asset Protection Manager supports building security and safety by responding to incidents, observing and investigating theft and fraud, and assisting the Asset Protection Manager with coaching and emergency response. This role requires confidentiality, initiative, time management, and use of monitoring technologies.

Responsibilities

• Work with Asset Protection leadership to ensure building security and safety
• Respond to and report store security and emergency situations including first aid and escorting hostile individuals
• Partner with the Asset Protection Manager on employee safety incidents and emergency response team participation
• Observe customer behavior for indicators of internal and external theft and fraudulent activity
• Assist in coaching Asset Protection employees to meet performance standards
• Review and approve reports to ensure loss prevention incidents are reported properly
• Document review of detention room videotapes

Requirements

• Proven success in investigative, asset protection and security procedures
• Ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with employees and leaders
• Strong organizational, delegation and follow-through skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Computer proficiency including monitoring and surveillance technologies
• Understanding of APIS and XBR preferred
