Summary

The Assistant Beauty Manager supports the Department Manager to drive sales and deliver exceptional customer experiences through directive selling, coaching, merchandising, and inventory management. This role focuses on building personal trade, achieving productivity goals, and acting as a product knowledge and fashion role model for customers.

Responsibilities

• Use directive selling to meet or exceed sales goals
• Build and maintain customer relationships to grow personal trade
• Assist Department Manager in developing and executing a business plan to achieve volume and productivity goals
• Coach sales associates to meet Sell More Make More goals and deliver outstanding customer service
• Serve as a product knowledge expert and fashion role model for customers
• Ensure merchandising and presentation standards are met
• Support accurate inventory management
• Manage competing priorities in a fast paced retail environment

Requirements

• Proven track record of sales results and productivity
• Experience with directive selling techniques
• Ability to use sales metrics to identify opportunities and drive volume
• Strong organizational and follow through skills
• Ability to coach and develop salespeople
• Comfort working in a fast paced retail environment
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
