Assistant Manager, Collection

Summary

The Assistant Manager supports store sales and profitability while delivering a consistently memorable customer experience. In partnership with the General Manager, this role leads the sales floor, builds client relationships, and develops the store team.

Responsibilities

• Meet sales, margin, and profit goals; support operating budgets and monitor performance.
• Set sales goals, supervise and coach associates, and foster exceptional customer service.
• Build customer loyalty and maintain a welcoming store environment.
• Share sales and merchandise feedback with buying and allocation teams.
• Execute visual presentation initiatives and maintain the store environment.
• Implement loss prevention and asset protection procedures.
• Recruit, supervise, and develop staff, and support promotional strategies.

Requirements

• Relevant work experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and financial skills.
• Ability to motivate and develop a team and guide individuals toward goals.
• Computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, preferred.
• Ability to move around the store, operate a register, stand and walk for multiple hours, lift up to 30 pounds, and climb a ladder as trained.
