Assistant Manager, Sales - Accessories

Summary

Assistant Manager, Sales supports store leadership to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional client experiences in the accessories department. They coach and develop sales associates, execute merchandising and visual standards, and manage daily store operations. The role requires strong leadership, clienteling, and the ability to work a flexible retail schedule.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and conversion to meet individual and store targets through proactive selling and client engagement.
• Coach, train, schedule, and motivate sales associates to achieve performance and service standards.
• Implement merchandising and visual presentation standards and assist with inventory control and stock replenishment.
• Deliver outstanding client service, including clienteling and relationship building, and handle escalated customer issues.
• Support store operations including cash handling, opening and closing procedures, and loss prevention compliance.

Requirements

• 1+ years of supervisory or assistant manager experience in retail or a related customer-facing environment.
• Proven sales performance with the ability to coach and develop team members.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
