Assistant Manager - Women's Shoes

Summary

The Assistant Sales Department Manager supports the department manager to drive sales, develop the team, and deliver exceptional customer service in the women's shoes department. This role focuses on recruiting, training, coaching, merchandising execution, inventory control, and achieving sales and productivity goals.

Responsibilities

• Recruit hire and train department sales associates
• Develop and execute business plans to meet volume and productivity goals
• Coach and lead salespeople to deliver outstanding customer service
• Actively sell on the floor to build customer relationships and loyalty
• Support merchandising and presentation standards with the department manager
• Assist with inventory management and shrinkage control
• Work with store and divisional leaders to maintain productive relationships

Requirements

• Proven track record of sales results and strong productivity
• Competitive drive and ability to work in a commission based environment
• Ability to set and achieve sales goals
• Strong organizational skills and follow through
• Experience developing relationships with managers and merchandisers
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
