Summary
The Assistant Planner supports inventory sell-through and conversion by helping ensure products are placed where they are most likely to sell. The role combines purchasing and planning, merchandising, pricing, and performance analysis for Watchfinder's US business.
Responsibilities
- Support product sourcing, placement strategy, and monitoring of purchasing plans across sales channels.
- Coordinate with pricing, purchasing, and finance teams on stock analysis, pricing opportunities, and lifecycle reporting.
- Manage weekly retail store replenishment and ad-hoc requests, and conduct store visits to review visual merchandising and marketing displays.
- Analyze online and store performance, customer activity, inventory velocity, category trends, and product profitability.
- Execute US-specific campaigns and report on trends and performance, collaborating with Country Managers and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience creating positive business impact through merchandising, ideally in a multi-brand retailer.
- Strong numerical, analytical, organizational, and detail-oriented skills, including advanced Excel ability.
- Ability to interpret reports and data, understand retail and online KPIs, and present findings clearly.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, work independently, and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Sound judgment, decision-making skills, confidence suggesting calculated risks, and multi-region or market experience.
