Summary

The Assistant Store Director supports the Store Director at the Men’s South Coast Plaza location, driving commercial performance, elevating the client experience, and developing high-performing teams in line with brand standards. This role leads on the sales floor, fosters client relationships, and partners on operational and budgetary objectives.

Responsibilities

• Support achievement of store objectives through strong leadership and commercial acumen
• Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing men’s store team
• Provide regular feedback and contribute to individual development plans
• Drive client engagement, retention, and repurchase through clienteling strategies
• Role model exceptional selling behaviors and lead the sales floor
• Ensure strong performance, engagement, and execution on the sales floor
• Support oversight of store operations, processes, and standards
• Partner with the Store Director on business performance and budget management

Requirements

• Experience in premium or luxury retail preferred
• Proven sales leadership and client relationship building skills
• Demonstrated ability to develop and coach retail teams
• Strong commercial mindset and operational awareness
• Passion for service excellence and men’s product knowledge
• Ability to lead by example on the sales floor
