Assistant Store Manager - Cabazon Outlet

Summary

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in daily operations to optimize sales performance, inventory management, and client service. This role helps lead the store team, enforces luxury service standards, and contributes to business initiatives that drive growth and operational excellence. The ASM also oversees after sales processes and ensures alignment with visual and operational guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in delegating tasks, coaching the team, and maintaining high service and selling standards.
• Identify opportunities to grow sales and improve operational efficiencies, and communicate objectives to the team and corporate partners.
• Manage inventory procedures including cycle counts, stock consolidations, fiscal inventory, and stockroom organization.
• Oversee after sales operations such as alterations, repairs, and spare parts handling.
• Monitor store expenses, assist with profit and loss management, and optimize expenditures within budget.
• Ensure proper execution of opening/closing activities, scheduling, administrative tasks, and store facilities reporting.
• Maintain alignment of visual merchandising with corporate guidelines and mitigate business risks.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of management and sales experience, preferably in a luxury retail environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SAP, and other digital tools.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• Solid knowledge of sales, operations, and inventory management practices.
• Availability to travel and work weekends and ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds.
