Assistant Store Manager

As an Assistant Store Manager at James Perse in Aspen, you will play a crucial role in leading the store team alongside the Store Manager to achieve company objectives. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring customer service excellence, client development, and adherence to visual merchandising and operational standards. In the absence of the Store Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the store and staff.

• Lead and motivate the team to achieve and exceed sales goals and store KPIs.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and store standards.
• Conduct store meetings and ensure staff adherence to company policies.
• Assist in recruitment, training, and development of store staff.
• Open and close the store, ensuring all procedures are followed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to achieve business objectives.
• Manage timekeeping and reporting in partnership with the Store Manager.

• 3-4 years of experience in retail sales or related field, with at least 2 years of supervisory responsibility.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with retail systems.
• Ability to relocate is preferable.
• High School Graduate or Equivalent required; College Degree Preferred.
• Core competencies include multi-tasking, team building, and customer focus.
