Assistant Store Manager

Summary

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in daily operations to drive sales performance, manage inventory, and deliver an exceptional luxury client experience. This role contributes to team development, operational excellence, and execution of brand standards to achieve business objectives. The ASM also supports after-sales services and oversees store facilities and expense management.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Manager in driving sales and business development, including VIC initiatives and delivering elevated service and product storytelling.
• Coach, develop, and provide feedback to the store team; assist with recruitment and conduct regular team meetings.
• Delegate tasks and manage performance to ensure service and selling standards are met.
• Oversee inventory processes including cycle counts, stock consolidations, and fiscal inventory.
• Manage after-sales operations such as alterations, repairs, and spare parts, and report facility/maintenance issues.
• Control store expenses, support P&L management, and enforce internal procedures and safety regulations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of management and sales experience, preferably in luxury retail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and other digital tools.
• Excellent leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills with strong knowledge of sales, operations, and inventory.
• Ability to travel and work weekends; ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds.
