Associate Art Advisor

As an Associate Art Advisor at Saks Fifth Avenue in Houston, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and expert knowledge on the Saks Fifth Avenue Art Collection. You will be responsible for developing strong client relationships and training other associates, while driving sales and enhancing the customer experience.

• Maintain a thorough understanding of the current art collection to effectively communicate artistic concepts to clients and associates.
• Build familiarity with current collections in NYC and other galleries to assist the team and inform customers.
• Identify as a resource for questions about the collection and artists.
• Create a welcoming and engaging experience for all clients.
• Consistently meet and exceed sales plans.
• Establish and develop a clientele base.
• Collaborate with Saks Leadership and corporate partners to maximize sales opportunities through consultative selling and clienteling.
• Perform ad hoc responsibilities as needed.

• Background in or currently studying Art History.
• Associate's degree and one year of experience, or a combination of experience and education.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to speak confidently about the collection.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and utilize resources to accomplish goals.
