Associate Assortment Planner

As an Associate Assortment Planner at Nordstrom Product Group, you will play a crucial role in planning and managing brand plans, collaborating with buyers and assortment planners to ensure brand strategies align with financial goals. This hybrid role requires working in the Seattle office at least three days a week.

• Support NMG as the liaison with NPG to align on 18-month department/brand financial plans.
• Lead analysis to improve buying decisions, incorporating customer choice and top item depth recommendations.
• Communicate with partners on in-season business results and necessary actions for future buy cycles.
• Support partners with in-season scenario modeling for sales, profit, and inventory outcomes.
• Monitor RP performance and recommend actions to drive sales or mitigate inventory liabilities.

• 1+ years of experience as an Assistant Assortment Planner or in a related role.
• Experience in a high-sales volume category preferred.
• Understanding of retail and Nordstrom's service environment required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
