Job Description

Summary

The Associate, Audit and Control performs switchboard, general office, accounts payable and daily cash office balancing functions. This role executes internal services to the store including procedural inquiries, employee parcel and bag check, and supports audits and compliance activities.

Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound customer calls following company standards and route calls or deliver messages
  • Maintain and update the location phone directory
  • Oversee repairs of technical systems such as point of sale
  • Provide financial support including banking reconciliation and invoice coding
  • Manage petty cash and perform chargeback investigations
  • Track Customer’s Own Goods and other no inventory value or no charge items
  • Maintain general office practices to mitigate loss and ensure a tidy workplace
  • Conduct department audits of company policies and procedures and follow up to ensure compliance

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of related work experience, retail preferred
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel PowerPoint and Word
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to perform financial reconciliation and basic accounting tasks
