Summary
The Associate Gallery Leader is a leadership role responsible for delivering a luxury customer and associate experience, driving team performance, and executing gallery strategy. This leader coaches and develops cross-functional teams, supports recruitment, and partners with People operations to resolve HR matters. The role requires a passion for luxury design, strong organizational skills, and the ability to drive results in a gallery environment.
Responsibilities
- Represent the brand through professional appearance and polished communication
- Coach, lead and develop teams to create a positive high-performing environment
- Drive sales and results through team engagement, empowerment and accountability
- Educate teams on product assortment and the company point of view
- Attract and hire talent across multiple levels for the gallery
- Recognize and address complex priorities and operational challenges
- Partner with the People Team to respond to human resources concerns
- Maintain gallery standards and ensure exceptional customer service
- Manage physical operations including showroom and stockroom flow
Requirements
- 7+ years of leadership experience in high-end furniture, design showrooms or luxury retail
- Superior organization and leadership skills
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proven ability to motivate, influence and inspire teams
- Commitment to quality with strong attention to detail
- Strategic and mental agility with results-driven mindset
- Proficiency with Mac OS, Microsoft Office and Google Applications
- Ability to lift and mobilize items up to 25 lbs and maneuver in gallery environment
