Summary
The Associate Hospitality Leader supports the Hospitality Leader to deliver exceptional dining experiences within the RH Restaurant at Fashion Island. This role focuses on team development, operational execution, guest engagement, and contributing to financial performance while maintaining service and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop team members through structured training and in-the-moment guidance to uphold dining room service standards
- Partner with the Hospitality Leader on recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and building a high-performing team
- Drive operational excellence by implementing and maintaining quality and safety standards across hospitality spaces
- Engage with guests and team members to create a seamless dining experience
- Support financial goals by assessing labor and sales performance and implementing revenue enhancing practices
- Create strategic team schedules to optimize business and client experience
- Assume full leadership responsibilities in the Hospitality Leader's absence to ensure seamless operations
- Manage inventory and partner with systems for accurate reporting and controls
Requirements
- 3+ years hospitality leadership experience in a high volume full service restaurant or equivalent
- Proven ability to manage financial performance including labor and food costs and inventory controls
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel inventory management systems and Micros point of sale or equivalent
- Ability to work autonomously and collaborate across leadership levels
- Legal authorization to work in the country at time of application
- Flexibility to work weekends holidays and variable shifts
- Ability to frequently move and lift items up to 50 lbs and stand and walk for extended periods
