Associate Manager

Summary

The Associate Manager supports the General Manager in developing and executing strategic plans to build a profitable store business. This role leads in the General Manager's absence and helps deliver operational excellence, develop talent, and uphold brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business trends and support strategic planning and store initiatives.
• Educate the team on sales and profit performance, and support a consistent customer experience.
• Help lead client development, community outreach, networking, and recruitment.
• Coach and develop employees, support inventory control, and manage store processes and execution.
• Promote new selling technologies, maintain store standards, and uphold company policies.
• Share business trends and profit opportunities with the General Manager and District Director.

Requirements

• Retail management or similar experience in a complex, high-volume, or high-profile specialty environment preferred.
• Strong communication, business acumen, planning, prioritization, and time-management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and possible overnight shifts; travel may be required.
• Ability to stand, move, and walk for multiple hours and lift or climb up to 30 pounds.
• College degree or equivalent is a plus.
