Job Description

Summary

Associate Print Designer responsible for developing original, saleable print concepts and supporting seasonal direction within the product design team. Role requires strong textile and color knowledge, production ready artwork skills, and collaboration with cross functional partners in a hybrid headquarters environment.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in conceptual development of print story and seasonal direction
  • Research marketplace and competitors for inspiration and product opportunities
  • Develop concepts and art for product lines and present to art leadership
  • Create colorway development and apply to silhouettes and items
  • Produce clean production ready artwork and understand print processes
  • Manage administration of product design process and create presentation boards
  • Solicit feedback and ask questions to understand needs
  • Promote continuous improvement to simplify and accelerate outcomes

Requirements

  • 2+ years print design experience with strong conceptual skills
  • Strong knowledge of textiles, artwork techniques and fabric
  • Proficient in Illustrator and capable in Photoshop, InDesign, NED Graphics
  • Highly organized, detail oriented with ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to identify trends and relate them to brand and consumer
  • Experience managing and developing direct reports
  • College degree in Fashion Design, Textiles or related field
