Job Description

Summary

Associate Technical Designer responsible for creating samples and ensuring design and fit align with brand DNA, leading fit sessions, managing sample development and fit approvals, and collaborating with internal and external partners to deliver product to agreed calendar milestones in a hybrid corporate environment.

Responsibilities

  • Create measurement worksheets and visual construction pages for factory development
  • Lead fit sessions and ensure fit and construction meet approved standards
  • Manage sample development from approval through production
  • Communicate fit and construction changes to factories and vendor partners
  • Support block pattern development with Pattern Engineers and Designers
  • Collaborate with cross functional and external partners to align product with design intent
  • Maintain consistent fit and construction quality and meet calendar milestones

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Apparel Design Apparel Manufacturing Pattern Making or related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Technical Design or related field
  • Ability to demonstrate capabilities through fit test
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe CS
  • Clear written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team and manage time effectively
  • Strong understanding of industry trends and ability to adapt to new technology and systems
