Job Description

Summary

Senior IT leader responsible for overseeing the implementation and support of Assortment Planning, Retail Allocation and Space Planning capabilities. Drive full lifecycle delivery of planning systems and optimize product assortment and allocation processes across the business. Partner with merchandising, planning, allocations and store operations teams and lead vendor and consulting relationships. Build and develop a high-performing team to enable user adoption and measurable business results.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technology implementation of Allocation, Assortment Planning and Space Planning tools and processes.
  • Manage full lifecycle projects from requirements gathering through rollout and adoption.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in Merchandising, Planning and Store Operations to align tools to business needs.
  • Partner with vendors and consulting partners to ensure successful delivery and integrations.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline planning workflows and improve inventory productivity.
  • Recruit, develop and lead a team of planning and technical specialists.

Requirements

  • Approximately 15 years of relevant experience in Allocation, Assortment or Space Planning within retail or wholesale.
  • Hands-on experience implementing or upgrading Assortment Planning/MFP systems (o9, Impact Analytics, Blue Yonder/JDA, Logility, Oracle, etc.).
  • Deep understanding of retail planning processes, inventory management and in-store execution.
  • Proven project leadership skills, strong stakeholder management and effective communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change, deliver results and develop high-performing teams.
