Job Description

Summary

Temporary role supporting the Atelier in New York City responsible for preparing trim and cut ticket packages, managing patterns and production charts, and assisting with sewing trials and related setup tasks. The position requires long hours and availability seven days a week. Knowledge of sewing construction and pattern making is preferred. Works onsite at the SoHo headquarters supporting atelier operations and sample production.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare trim packages for production
  • Scan and cut patterns and update pattern files on hard drive
  • Prepare cut ticket packages for sewers and factories
  • Shorten zippers and set up thread for sewing trials
  • Set up production charts and organize trial materials
  • Order and set up meals for production teams
  • Multitask and prioritize urgent requests in a fast paced environment
  • Support general atelier setup and production needs

Requirements

  • Available seven days a week with long hours
  • Knowledge of sewing construction and pattern making preferred
  • Ability to multitask and work under urgency
  • Experience handling patterns and production documentation
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
