Summary

Temporary Design Coordinator to support the design team at the New York City SoHo headquarters. Role involves hands-on sample and fabric handling, maintaining design boards, and assisting with basic sewing and production prep. This is a temporary, on-site position reporting to the design team.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain fabric and design boards
• Swatch fabric lining and trim options in Midtown
• Pick up and deliver samples to factories
• Organize the fit room
• Assist in preparation of cut tickets
• Perform simple hand sewing projects

Requirements

• Fashion design background preferred
• Experience in sample room and design ateliers preferred
• Ability to perform basic hand sewing
• Comfortable handling and organizing fabric and samples
• Willingness to travel locally to Midtown and factories
