Beauty Advisor

Summary

The Beauty Advisor builds long-lasting client relationships to drive sales and loyalty for a luxury beauty brand in a department store setting. Compensation includes base hourly pay plus commission based on individual sales performance. The role delivers expert product knowledge, personalized service, and supports merchandising and in-store events.

Responsibilities

• Deliver extraordinary, personalized service to all customers
• Meet and exceed personal and brand sales and service targets
• Build and maintain a loyal client base through acquisition, development, and retention
• Share expert product knowledge with the selling team and participate in educational sessions
• Support brand initiatives including event execution, marketing opportunities, and assortment suggestions
• Perform floor recovery, visual merchandising, price changes, and other sales support tasks
• Communicate regularly with clients regarding events, requests, and follow-up
• Resolve customer service issues and partner with management as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a commission-based sales environment
• Prior luxury retail sales experience preferred
• Make-up artistry or aesthetics certificate may be required for certain brands
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Strong multitasking, clienteling, and collaborative skills
