Summary

The Beauty Concierge provides exceptional customer service in the cosmetics area, assisting customers with product inquiries, directing them to resources, and supporting general store operations. This role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced retail environment. The concierge may also make customer deliveries and must maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct customers and assist with cosmetic product inquiries
• Provide product information and guidance to customers and employees
• Support store operations as a general resource for customers and staff
• Suggestive sell and connect customers to salespeople
• Make deliveries to customers as needed
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Prioritize tasks and respond with a strong sense of urgency in a busy environment

Requirements

• Clear and professional communication with coworkers and customers
• Ability to suggestively sell and refer customers to sales staff
• Strong decision making and problem solving skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast paced retail setting
• Physical ability to move continuously for 6-8 hours per shift
• Frequent bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and use of hands for manipulation
• Ability to lift regularly up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
