The Beauty Counter Manager and Licensed Esthetician creates personalized beauty experiences, drives sales, and leads the Anastasia counter at Ala Moana. This role blends hands-on makeup and skincare services with vendor collaboration, merchandising, and digital selling to build customer loyalty and meet counter goals. The manager supports the team, coordinates events and promotions, and maintains a customer-ready environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses, recommending products based on customer goals
• Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital tools, including text and social media
• Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events, promotions, and vendor relationships
• Handle sales transactions, refunds, exchanges, and open Nordstrom Rewards accounts to build customer loyalty
• Maintain counter organization, cleanliness, and inventory presentation
• Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming, inclusive customer experience

Requirements

• Licensed Esthetician (as indicated in title) or relevant esthetician credentials and strong beauty knowledge
• Passion for customer service, makeup application, skincare, and current beauty trends
• Excellent interpersonal skills with empathy, the ability to handle customer concerns, and relationship-building ability
• Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through; drive to achieve sales in a commission environment
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends; ability to stand and move continuously 6-8 hours and lift up to 25 pounds
