Summary

The Beauty Counter Manager delivers personalized beauty experiences and maximizes sales for the assigned beauty brand. This role combines customer-facing sales and beauty education, building customer relationships in-store and through digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses, and recommend products based on customers' beauty goals.
• Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools.
• Manage vendor events and promotions, and build strong vendor relationships.
• Maintain an organized, clean, customer-ready department and keep current on beauty trends and products.
• Process sales, refunds, and exchanges, and build customer loyalty through Nordstrom Rewards accounts.
• Contribute to a welcoming team environment and address customer concerns with care.

Requirements

• Passion for customer service, beauty trends, makeup application, and skincare.
• Strong customer connection, communication, multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills.
• Drive to achieve sales goals and interest in networking and technology.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to remain in continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, handle merchandise, and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
