The Beauty Counter Manager creates personalized beauty experiences while maximizing sales for assigned luxury brands. This role blends sales and teaching responsibilities, requires building customer relationships in-store and digitally, and managing counter operations and vendor events.
Responsibilities
- Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses and recommend products
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital tools
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to drive results
- Handle sales transactions, refunds, exchanges and open customer accounts
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming inclusive environment
- Maintain counter organization, cleanliness and customer readiness
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings
Requirements
- Passion for beauty, makeup application and skincare
- Excellent customer connection and proactive problem solving skills
- Strong multitasking, organization and follow through
- Drive to achieve sales goals and use networking and technology
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
- Ability to stand and move continuously for 6-8 hours and perform physical tasks
