Manage a beauty counter delivering personalized beauty consultations, makeup applications, and skincare analyses while driving sales and building customer relationships. Serve as both salesperson and educator for assigned brands, overseeing events and vendor relations to maximize results. Responsibilities
- Perform makeup applications and skincare consultations tailored to customer needs
- Recommend products and build customer loyalty including opening rewards accounts
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital tools
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to drive business results
- Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive customer experience
- Maintain counter organization, cleanliness, and customer readiness
- Handle sales transactions including refunds and exchanges
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through training
Requirements
- Passion for beauty, makeup application, and skincare
- Excellent customer connection and ability to handle customer concerns
- Strong multitasking, organization, and follow through skills
- Drive to achieve sales goals and comfort with commissioned sales environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
- Physical ability to stand and move continuously and perform repetitive motions
- Ability to lift and handle items up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Experience in beauty retail or sales preferred
