Job Description

Summary

Manage an assigned beauty brand counter within the department store, combining sales and teaching to deliver personalized beauty experiences. Drive counter performance through in-store and digital selling while maintaining vendor relationships and a customer ready environment. Support team collaboration and stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses and recommend products based on customer goals
  • Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital tools including text and social media
  • Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to maximize results
  • Handle sales transactions, refunds, and exchanges and open customer loyalty accounts
  • Keep the department organized, clean, and customer ready
  • Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment
  • Participate in trainings provided by company and brand partners to maintain product knowledge

Requirements

  • Passion for customer service, beauty trends, makeup application, and skincare
  • Excellent ability to connect with customers and handle customer concerns with empathy
  • Strong multitasking, organization, and follow through skills
  • Drive to achieve sales goals and interest in networking and technology
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
  • Experience in commissioned sales environment preferred
