Manage an assigned beauty brand counter within the department store, combining sales and teaching to deliver personalized beauty experiences. Responsibilities
- Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses and recommend products based on customer goals
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital tools including text and social media
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to maximize results
- Handle sales transactions, refunds, and exchanges and open customer loyalty accounts
- Keep the department organized, clean, and customer ready
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment
- Participate in trainings provided by company and brand partners to maintain product knowledge
Requirements
- Passion for customer service, beauty trends, makeup application, and skincare
- Excellent ability to connect with customers and handle customer concerns with empathy
- Strong multitasking, organization, and follow through skills
- Drive to achieve sales goals and interest in networking and technology
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
- Experience in commissioned sales environment preferred
