Job Description

Summary

The Beauty Counter Manager is a sales focused and customer facing role responsible for maximizing sales for an assigned luxury beauty brand through personalized consultations, makeup applications, skincare analysis, and digital selling. The role involves teaching customers, managing vendor events and promotions, maintaining a customer ready counter, and building strong vendor and customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses tailored to customer needs
  • Recommend products and achieve personal and counter sales goals
  • Utilize in-store and digital selling tools including text and social media
  • Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to drive results
  • Handle sales transactions including refunds and exchanges
  • Maintain counter organization, cleanliness and product presentation
  • Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings
  • Open new customer accounts to build loyalty and rewards participation

Requirements

  • Passion for beauty, makeup application and skincare
  • Excellent customer connection and communication skills
  • Ability to handle customer concerns with empathy and respect
  • Strong multitasking, organization and follow through
  • Drive to achieve sales goals and use networking and technology
  • Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
  • Physical ability to stand and move for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
  • High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
