Summary

The Beauty Counter Manager creates personalized beauty experiences and drives sales for the assigned beauty brand. This role combines customer service, makeup and skincare expertise, sales leadership, and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses, and recommend products based on customer goals.
• Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools.
• Manage vendor events and promotions, and build strong vendor relationships.
• Maintain an organized, clean, customer-ready department and foster an inclusive customer environment.
• Process sales, refunds, and exchanges, and build customer loyalty through Nordstrom Rewards accounts.
• Keep current with beauty trends, products, and industry knowledge through training.

Requirements

• Passion for beauty, customer service, makeup application, and skincare.
• Strong customer connection, communication, multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills.
• Drive to achieve sales goals and interest in networking and technology.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to remain in continuous movement for 6-8 hours, frequently handle merchandise, lift up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 25 pounds occasionally.
