Summary
Provide personalized beauty experiences within the Nordstrom Beauty department by engaging customers, performing makeup applications and skincare analyses, and driving sales both in-store and digitally. Maintain product and industry knowledge through training and support a welcoming, inclusive environment for all customers.
Responsibilities
- Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses and recommend products based on customer goals
- Engage customers to build a following in-store and through digital channels including text and social media
- Set and achieve sales goals and participate in performance-based incentives
- Book appointments and drive sales for in-store beauty events and services
- Manage sales transactions, refunds, exchanges, and open customer rewards accounts
- Keep the department organized, clean, and customer-ready
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings
Requirements
- Passion for beauty trends, makeup application, and skincare
- Excellent customer connection skills and ability to handle customer concerns
- Empathy and respect when providing makeup and skincare services
- Strong multitasking, organizational, and follow-through abilities
- Drive to achieve sales goals and willingness to use networking and technology
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Capable of continuous movement and lifting items up to 25 pounds as needed
