Summary

Provide personalized beauty consultations and sales in a retail department, focusing on makeup, skincare and luxury beauty brands. Engage customers in person and digitally to build relationships, meet sales goals and support beauty events and services. Maintain department organization and product knowledge through training and collaboration with team members.

Responsibilities

• Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses to recommend products
• Engage customers to understand needs and build a customer following in-store and digitally
• Set and achieve sales goals using selling tools including text and social media
• Book appointments and drive sales for in-store beauty events and services
• Manage sales transactions, refunds and exchanges
• Open new customer reward accounts to build loyalty
• Maintain department cleanliness and customer-ready presentation
• Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings

Requirements

• Passion for beauty, makeup application and skincare
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask, stay organized and follow through
• Drive to meet sales goals and use networking and technology
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
• Capability for continuous movement and physical tasks during shifts
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
