Beauty Stylist - Downtown Seattle

Summary

The Beauty Stylist sells beauty products across brands by using demonstration and artistry techniques while delivering one-on-one customer service. This role focuses on appointment-based and in-store selling, building customer relationships, and supporting vendor partnerships. The stylist uses technology and social outreach to grow sales and meet store goals.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling using selling tools and technology
• Initiate consultations to learn customer preferences and recommend appropriate products
• Grow business through appointment-based selling, follow-up, and opening customer accounts
• Create and host in-store events and network within the community to drive traffic
• Maintain product and industry knowledge and identify trends to inform recommendations
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to highlight key products

Requirements

• 1+ years of beauty industry experience
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department needs
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and strong organization
• High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative with ability to prioritize
• Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift with frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
• Regularly lift items up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
