Provide one-on-one beauty consultations and demonstrations to drive sales across brands through appointment and walk-in services. Responsibilities
- Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital channels
- Perform beauty demonstrations and artistry techniques to sell appropriate products
- Initiate consultations using open-ended questions to determine customer needs
- Build lasting customer relationships through follow-up and appointment-based selling
- Utilize technology and social media to grow sales and open reward accounts
- Create in-store events and network within the community
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and focus on key products
- Work a flexible schedule with varying hours based on business needs
- Handle merchandise including lifting and frequent movement during shifts
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of beauty industry experience
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organization, follow-through, and initiative
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Capacity for continuous movement 6-8 hours per shift with frequent bending and reaching
- Frequent use of hands for fine manipulation and handling merchandise
- Ability to regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
