Summary

The Beauty Stylist drives beauty sales by demonstrating products and delivering personalized service to clients. This role focuses on appointment and consultative selling, building customer relationships, and maintaining product knowledge across brands. The stylist works in a commissioned sales environment and supports in-store and digital selling activities.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital channels
• Perform product demonstrations and beauty artistry techniques
• Initiate service consultations using open-ended questions to assess customer needs
• Grow sales through appointment-based selling and technology use
• Follow up with customers to build lasting relationships and suggest products
• Create and host in-store events and network in the community
• Open new rewards accounts and utilize selling tools including text and social media
• Maintain strong vendor relationships and focus on key products
• Work a flexible schedule with variable hours based on business needs

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of beauty industry experience
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organization, follow-through, and initiative
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Physical ability for continuous movement 6-8 hours per shift
• Frequent use of hands for grasping and fine manipulation
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 25 pounds
