Billing And Inventory Analyst

Summary

The Billing and Inventory Analyst performs billing and inventory reconciliations for bailment/control states, supports monthly and quarterly close activities and audit schedules, and maintains internal control compliance and process documentation. This role partners with operations and cross-functional stakeholders to identify and resolve billing or inventory discrepancies and supports system updates and process improvements. The position operates in a hybrid office environment and reports to the Inventory Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute bailment billing, including uploads, conversions, and invoice accuracy checks.
• Review product transactions, coding, and pricing to identify and resolve issues impacting billing and inventory.
• Prepare monthly inventory reconciliations and participate in physical inventory counts for control states.
• Support monthly, quarterly and hard close schedules, sales accruals, and audit deliverables.
• Assist with system implementations, training, and process improvement initiatives; document procedures and controls.
• Provide ad hoc analyses and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address discrepancies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1-3 years of relevant professional experience in accounting/finance; wines and spirits industry experience is a plus.
• Strong systems knowledge, including experience with SAP.
• High level of accuracy, strong organizational and problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently.
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
