Summary
The Boutique Director is responsible for all aspects of the boutique, including sales generation, store operations, team leadership, and client development. This role leads the boutique leadership team to achieve annual sales goals, deliver exceptional client service, and manage budgets and operational processes. The Director partners with HR, Merchandising, Training, and Operations to drive performance and ensure compliance with company standards.
Responsibilities
- Drive achievement of annual boutique sales goals across all product categories.
- Lead, develop, and coach Department Managers and Sales Associates to maximize client development and individual sales.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, payroll, commercial expenses, and headcount to meet the boutique operating budget.
- Oversee visual merchandising, in-store events, promotions, trunk shows, and customer-facing activations.
- Coordinate with Merchandising, Training, and Corporate teams on product knowledge, sell-through reporting, and client feedback.
- Manage operational processes including shipping & receiving, inventory control, aftersales, and loss prevention.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, security procedures, and store safety standards.
- Conduct management meetings and develop strategies to improve service, efficiency, and productivity.
Requirements
- 10+ years of boutique management experience, preferably in luxury fashion.
- Strong understanding of luxury clientele and product knowledge.
- Proven leadership skills with ability to recruit, develop, motivate, delegate, and follow up with managers and staff.
- Experience managing payroll, budgets, inventory, and operational reporting.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Availability to work full-time including nights, weekends, and holidays; travel as needed.
- Ability to operate required equipment and apply company policies and procedures.
