Summary
The Boutique Manager supports the management of boutique operations and leads the team in delivering excellent client service. The role focuses on sales performance, client relationships, staff development, and maintaining a professional and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Achieve sales goals through selling strategies, clienteling, new client sourcing, and long-term client relationships.
- Evaluate, coach, and develop team members, setting clear standards and action plans.
- Monitor market competition, watch trends, and client shopping behaviors.
- Forecast, plan, and budget for business needs, including payroll and staffing.
- Manage daily boutique operations and support recruitment and retention efforts.
- Promote teamwork and collaboration while supporting the Boutique Director.
- Maintain product knowledge and train the broader team on current collections.
- Deliver an authentic luxury client experience.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of retail service experience; luxury retail experience preferred.
- Current knowledge of watch trends and marketplace competition.
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with retail systems.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
