Summary

The Security Officer maintains a secure environment for clients and employees at a retail store and serves as an ambassador and first point of contact. This role supports store operations, assists with opening and closing procedures, and partners with management to deter theft and respond to incidents. The position contributes to delivering exceptional customer service and supporting sales through operational and security responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for clients and employees and act as the store ambassador.
• Partner with senior security and management to deter theft, report missing assets, and respond to emergency situations.
• Execute security controls, incident management procedures, daily inspections, alarm tests, key access management, and required reporting.
• Perform back-of-house operations including opening and closing procedures and support facilities repairs.
• Support sales and service by deepening client relationships and optimizing the in-store customer experience.
• Work required retail hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills and ability to complete required reports and inspections.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Availability to work retail store hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Preferred: prior experience in a retail or security role, ideally 1 year in a security-related position.
